Thoughts on Prayer: Momentum

College football is a passion in my fair state of Alabama. We have one of the longest and strongest in-state rivalries with Auburn University in college football history. It is an understatement to say we love football here. Recently, the head coach for the University of Alabama located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA made a request of the fans. He asked that they remain for the entire 60 minutes of the game—all four quarters. Alabama aka The Crimson Tide is in the middle of a historic dynasty. They have the trophies to prove it.  This season the fans, students of the University included, have been leaving early, which has left the cheering section virtually silent and the team unsupported during the fourth quarter. Winning can lead to complacency, can’t it? Coach Saban’s call for Tide fans to remain faithful to spur on their team till game’s end…
